It's frickin' SNOWING!

Is it really April 25th? Because I don’t think that we should be getting snow…but we ARE! Not tons of it, but enough to cover everything and it’s really heavy and wet. It’s freezing out too! Ugh! It better be nice from Sunday to Wednesday because we’re going to my parents house for a visit. Kristen has no school on Tuesday and Wednesday because of service days, so I decided we’d go up Sunday, she’d miss school on Monday, and we’d stay until Wednesday. I hope it’ll be nice so we can go to the park and stuff!

Kaylee went to her pediatricians app’t yesterday (which I thought was a speech therapy one since she’s been on the waiting list to see one for a year) and she did really well! She said she’s growing well and she’s not worried about her speech at all! Yay! She still wants her to go in for an assessment, so she called the hearing place and they didn’t even have her on record as being on the waiting list! No wonder we still haven’t gotten a call after being on the list for a year. So overall, she’s doing great, but needs a bit of work on her fine motor skills and needs some structured playtime.

Thinking Spring

I think Spring is finally here! It’s been pretty mild lately (although the mornings are a tad cold). But when the sun is out in the afternoon, it’s so nice, I do believe it’s here! Yay!!

Kristen has a dentist app’t this afternoon…she’s getting her first filling She also has an app’t to get another one next week. Guess the dentist didn’t want to do both in one day since they are in 2 different areas. I hope she takes it well…I’m sure she will since she’s such a trooper.

I’m outta here! Going to go watch a movie or nap until I gotta go get Kristen at school and head out to the dentists…

It won't go away!

Kaylee has already had 10 days of antibiotics and is on her 7th day of ear drops for her ear infection but she’s still complaining of pain every once in a while. This thing just won’t go away! Ugh! Yesterday was horrible…all of us had a cough, Kaylee had a fever, Kristen was just lethargic and DH had everything….at one point we were all in the living room sleeping. The girls didn’t have any supper and they still don’t have their appetite back either. They do eat some things, but aren’t asking for snacks all the time like they normally do. Kristen is much better today than she was yesterday so I’m sure she’ll be going to school tomorrow.

Tomorrow I have my first session of laser hair removal. I’m so excited, but nervous at the same time since I’ve never done it before. I can’t wait to get rid of this hair!!

Sickies

Okay, first thing first…Kaylee still has an ear infection. She was diagnosed with a double infection on March 17th…had 10 days of antibiotics and Friday morning had her last dose. Sunday night she wouldn’t go to sleep and started crying saying her ear hurt, so we went back to the doctors yesterday. There’s still a bit of the infection there so she got a prescription for ear drops. She FREAKS when I try to put them in. Eventually I do, but she won’t keep her head to the side so I really hope it does it’s thing. Kristen wasn’t feeling well yesterday (fever and a bit of a cough) and she actually took a 2 hour nap, then laid on the couch and with me for most of the rest of the day. She never went to Sparks (Girl Guides for the 5-7 year olds) and today she isn’t going to school because she had a fever of 101.3. Right now she’s sleeping on the couch and even though her sister keeps bugging her, she’d rather be down here than by herself in her room. Poor girl…I hope they both get better soon and not worse!

Ooh! I got my camera bag in the mail yesterday! I bought a Crumpler Stamp Claimer from eBay since it’d be REALLY expensive if I bought it on Crumpler’s own site. It`s really sturdy and holds my Rebel and accessories perfectly.
