We SOLD it!!
We had a viewing this morning at 9:30 and by noon we had an offer, which we countered because it was too low and he wanted our appliances, which we excluded on the cut sheet. So the guy accepted our offer which is only $1900 less than what we were asking for! Besides some formalities like an inspection, our house is SOLD and the one in my hometown will be OURS! Woohoo!!

I think it's actually here!
Spring that is! Last weekend we had a snowfall warning but nothing came of it and I don’t think any more big snow will be coming again, so the winter coats and snow pants have gone into the closet! Yay! Our daffodils are growing outside, but haven’t bloomed yet, so no pics so far.
I still haven’t been in the mood to scrap much. I’ve been mostly spending my online time adding house things to my Kaboodle in case we DO get the house. We’ll be getting that stuff with any leftover money we have after putting the down payment on the house. I’ve also been spending my time on Facebook playing Bejeweled and also online playing a game sort of like it, called Jewel Quest. It has a twist to it, which makes it more interesting.

10 days
The house has been on the market for 10 days and we've had one viewing and one Open House, which didn't amount to much. We're having a viewing this afternoon though, so hopefully something will happen. We wouldn't mind it taking longer except for the fact that we might lose the house of our dreams if it takes too long to sell ours! Can you say stressful?!
Our Easter weekend was pretty nice. We went up to my hometown on Friday and on Saturday we had the house inspected. Cost us $400 but as least we know there's nothing major wrong with it. If we don't end up getting the house though, we don't get our money back, which sucks. Sunday we had dinner with the family. Man was it loud! 5 kids is just too many...no wonder my grandmother declined the invitation to come! LOL I didn't get a lot of great photos, so I'll just show you this one...

House for sale!
So the people didn't come to look at the house on Wednesday. I guess the girl saw a house on Tuesday that just came on the market and made an offer right away so they didn't even come to check ours to see if it was better. :( Well, there was someone who was supposed to look at that house right after the woman so our realtor, Eunice (a family friend) told the other agent that there is our house that she could check out but we haven't heard anything about that yet. Well, because of all that, we realized that people (especially military) are starting to look NOW so we decided to put the house on the market ASAP. As of this morning it's official! The sign went up in the yard and the listing is now on MLS!
We are going to see a house at 13 William St. tomorrow. It's just down the street from where I used to live and the house has been totally redone. Looks SO nice and it's within our price range of $170,000! It's in the perfect area, looks perfect (by way of pictures at least) too, so we are keeping our fingers crossed no one will get to it before we do tomorrow at noon. Mom and Dad are in Cuba, but we'll still be staying there overnight. Might as well since we are there!
