So Kaylee’s 3rd birthday was yesterday. She is my big girl now! (besides not being potty trained yet) :) Saturday after I got up we got on the road to the Stanley Flying Club to go to their annual Fly-In (eating lunch from McD’s on the way) where Barry’s parents are members and have a trailer where they stay when they’re up there. The Fly-In is a big 3 day affair with a yard sale, corn boil, auction, cake walk, bingo, candy drop from an airplane for the kids, watching planes take off and land, etc. It’s pretty fun! So we did some things and had a nice dinner with a little cake and sang happy birthday to Kaylee, then around 7 we left for my parents house which is an hour away.
We got to my parents around 8 and since the girls slept most of the way there, they weren’t sleepy enough to go right to bed. Kristen went down at 9pm and Kaylee didn’t end up going to sleep until 10pm. They both woke up by 6:30am the next morning anyway. Why won’t these kids sleep in?? LOL
Saturday Kaylee had her party which was really fun. She was SO excited as this was her first real birthday party. She got some great presents and she especially loves her 3-wheel scooter from us (even though I have to go exchange it because the rear axle is broken), her Dora Cuddle ‘n Care dolls and the Enchanted DVD she got. She keeps going around saying “my birtday in Setember”
